Being a volunteer youth soccer coach takes dedication, commitment, energy and time.
However, the rewards are huge! The overwhelming feeling of joy and pride as you watch your players grow as a team. The smile on your players faces and excitment they feel when playing the game of soccer is something very special to experience.
You don't have to be a soccer expert to coach the game! We will provide the tools necessary to succeed. All you need is a positive attitude and three to four hours of free time per week!

Referees Needed
"Great way to earn some money while enjoying soccer"
HYSL is looking for Referee candidates for our US Soccer Federation Level 8 License Class to be held this coming April (keep checking our calendar for dates). HYSL will pay for your training and license, and you will be able to Referee games for HYSL this fall. Most weekends you will be able to Ref at least a couple games over our 10 week season, and many of our Refs are able to earn $300 or more over the season for a couple hours of work each weekend. So if you love soccer, and want to make a little cash - this is a great deal.
Requirements: Must be at least a High School Freshman Fall of 2009, and have a basic knowledge of soccer. If you are currently playing - all the better. Must be available on Saturday or Sunday, mornings or afternoons for the weekends starting Aug 20 thru Nov 8 for the HYSL season.

Registration By Mail
Fill-in and print two copies of the CYSA Membership 1601 form.
Complete and sign both copies.
Include a photocopy of the player's birth certificate
CYSA requires a birth certificate on file for every player in our club, regardless of age.
Include the appropriate fees (see below) made out to HYSL.
If your player is U14 and above, include a 1 X 1 inch portrait-shaped photo of your players head only.
Write their name clearly on the back please. Please mark on your check on the memo line, your child’s name and age group.

Completed mail-in packages must be received by the Registrar by June 26th
Note: Please understand that it is a very big task to register all our players each season. Be kind to our Registrar and avoid late fees by only sending completed registration forms along with a copy of the players Birth Certificate, photo (if required) and payment.
Recreation Soccer Registration Fee for the 2010 Season $110 per player
Volunteer Fee for the 2010 Season $20 per family
Returning players who paid the volunteer fee last season can roll their $20 fee to the 2010 season.
